What is Polygraph?

A Polygraph Examination is a test performed by a certified Polygraph Examiner who conducts an interview of an individual and collects and records a series of charts utilizing a computerized instrument that collects at least three components including the pneumograph for respiration and movement, Galvanic Skin Response for changes in skin resistance and skin response and the cardiosphymograph that records relative blood pressure and pulse rate.

Are the results admissible in court?

Many States in the United States including Arizona, Nevada , Florida  allows polygraph in their legal system, whereas  in the UK , civil court judges permit its use if they deem it relevant to the particular case, however its admissibility in Bahamian courts has not yet been tested. 

How quickly can I schedule an examination?

Polygraph Bahamas normally requires 48 hours in advance to schedule an examination so that a proper case preparation could be conducted, but feel free to contact us as special considerations may be given based on specific circumstances.

How quickly can I get the results?

Is there a limit to the amount of questions in an exam?

A typical Polygraph exam would contain no more than 12 questions based on strict standards and procedures by the American Polygraph Association

Will nervousness or having high blood pressure or some other ailment cause me to fail a polygraph?

No it won't, General Nervous Tension or having HBP  are normal issues  encountered in the polygraph process and baseline physiological  data is always ascertained.  There are however some conditions which would render you an unfit candidate for a polygraph examination.
